In Brief

Everything you need to know about the Inclusion Check at a glance

Structure of the Inclusion-Check

The St. Gallen Inclusion Index is a central component of the Inclusion-Check.

The index measures the following dimensions at the organizational level

  • Equal opportunities: There are fair career opportunities for all employees in my team
  • Diversity of perspectives: In my team, all employees can contribute their ideas and opinions

At the employee level, the index measures the following dimensions:

  • Authenticity: I can be authentic in my team
  • Belonging: I feel I belong in my team

A Swiss benchmark with comparative values is presented for these four dimensions.

The Inclusion Check also covers the following diversity criteria:

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Workload
  • Funktion
  • Physical Impairment
  • Mental Impairment

Evaluations

Two types of automated evaluations are part of the Inclusion Check. Graphics are used to show authenticity and affiliation in the individual evaluation and the inclusion climate within the organization in the higher-level evaluation.

Personalized feedback

Each person who takes the survey receives immediate feedback on their individual situation with personalized recommendations for action.

Organizational Evaluation

Once the survey has been completed, the Inclusion Check provides the results of the analysis in the form of an organizational evaluation. High scores on the dimensions of inclusion have a positive impact on the organization and its human capital. In other words, the higher the scores, the more positive the effect on team and organizational performance.
